Questions
Will a Garmin transducer work with a Lowrance fish finder?
Neither brand publishes an adapter between a Garmin transducer plug and a Lowrance display, or the reverse, in any source we have read. Plan on a transducer from the display's own brand.
Can an adapter add side imaging to my unit?
No. An adapter only changes the plug. The display has to decode the sonar itself; Lowrance adds Active Imaging HD to some displays with an S3100 module, which is a sonar box, not a cable.
